Saving At Risk Animals is a small, volunteer run, 501(c)3 organization. We rescue cats from local shelters that are at risk of euthanasia. We provide medical care for the cat and get it ready to be adopted. All of our cats live in foster homes; we have no central shelter. We hold adoption events at local retail stores on the weekends. All of our adoptable cats, along with applications to adopt them are available to view online. Before adoption, all cats will be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, FeLV/FIV tested, and micro-chipped. We get to learn about each cat and their personality and help potential adopters select the cat they believe is the best fit for their family. Prior to finalizing adoptions, we require a home inspection and a completed Adoption Contract. After the cat has been placed in its new home we assist with acclimating it to the new environment.
