Project Snip & Stitch (PSS) Low Income Spay/Neuter Clinic is a project of Friends for Life Animal Society 501(c)3.rnrn We offer low cost spay/neuter services to low income families, rescues and individuals participating in Trap, Neuter, Return of stray/feral cats. PSS also offers scholarships for those who cannot afford our services.rnrnAlthough we are in rural Western Oklahoma, we were able to alter 815 pets in our first 18 months!!rnrnThis year in addition to our \”regular\” clinics we will also be holding \”Spring Cleaning.\” This, all day altering event, will be exclusively for stray and feral cats. It is our goal to raise $5000, for this event alone, in order that all cats, with appointments, can be vetted and altered for FREE!!rnrn PSS is always striving to educate the community on the importance of responsible pet ownership. To that end, we have expanded our project to also include micro chipping clinics at various events throughout our community and the surrounding areasrnrnWe operate with one DVM, his two assistants and over 30 volunteers. Our clinics are held every other month, on a Saturday. We alter anywhere from 50-90 animals in one day!!rnrnDonations go toward scholarships, post operative pet care supplies and cleaning/disinfecting supplies.
