We are a municipal shelter in NW Georgia who has recently built a new, state of the art facility which increased both our holding capacity and capacity for care. The 5.7 million dollar shelter features a surgical suite, stainless steel and tile enclosures and 100% exhaust HVAC system. Between 2006 and 2017 we have seen significant changes in our key statistics, going from 79% non-live outcome in 2006 to 12% in 2017, and increasing the live release rate from 20% in 2006 to 87% in 2017. Additionally our overall intake has fallen from 5479 in 2006 to 3721 in 2017.
